On Cookies

In which I discuss my website’s compliance with EU cookie laws as a means to humblebrag that I have a large international audience.

A week or two ago I tweaked the layout of my website. While I was at it, I enabled a cookie notification to comply with international law because I do in fact use cookies on this very site.

“…enough of the spam!”

A notification is very different than spam. Seriously. Look it up.

Anyway, I’ll admit that clicking out of a dialog box is a touch clunky, but as a majority of my listeners are international, it just makes sense to respect their laws. A jingoist worldview was never really my style, anyway: there’s an actual entire world outside of the United States and I think you should go to there.
