This episode focuses on stimulating the limbic system of the brain. I particularly enjoyed her deep dive into increasing your energy and vibration by stimulating the limbic system with music. As the auditory nerve is directly connected to limbic system, music has a direct effect on the brain and rewires and heals the brain. She suggests music that is both rhythmic and calming, while the music itself has no lyrics, as we end up distracted by lyrics which stimulates the language centers of the brain. The music should fade into the background to the point where you don’t even notice it. In this episode, she recommends my album Solfeggio Suite, as well as our joint project, the Creative Alchemy guided meditation ($12.99) and the Creative Alchemy Instrumental Mix (Included with Creative Alchemy or available as alone for a donation.)
I absolutely loved this episode of the series and I validate and support Theresa’s understanding of how sound healing connects the mind, body and spirit.
Bullard’s emphasis on intention is what draws me to her work. In this episode she reminds me of the importance of intentionally stimulating our senses to develop new habits while pruning away old patterns that are no longer serving our greatest good. We are more than passive receptors, and through intention we can create a lifestyle that brings us closer to an existence of excellence and harmony.
